Come, come, whoever you are…
Wander with us through the veils of time and spirit on a 5-day pilgrimage woven in silk and silence.
We begin in Istanbul, the city of thresholds, where Sufi saints still breathe through quiet stone tombs and old mosques echo with whispered dhikr. For two nights, we walk gently among hidden shrines and sacred gatherings — letting the sacred scent of oud and rose oil awaken memory in our hearts.
Then, as winter deepens, we cross Anatolia toward Konya, Rumi’s resting place, where the earth itself remembers his turning. For three nights, we surrender to sacred rhythm and longing — culminating in the luminous night of Şeb-i Arus, December 17th — when the veils thin and the dervishes whirl in remembrance of Love’s eternal union.
This is not just a journey — it is a return.
To silence. To music.
To the Beloved in all things.
You are not late. You are not lost.
The path is calling — and it remembers your name.
A 7-day spiritual immersion in the path of Love, remembrance, and Divine presence, through the sacred landscapes of Istanbul and Konya — culminating in the celestial union night of Mevlana Rumi.

Karim says: I remember my Sufi teacher once saying, ‘Sufism is a galaxy of light, and our souls are the stars dancing within it.’”
A few years ago, I was blessed to share a soul-stirring journey with my beloved, Kriszta.
We traveled to Turkey — but in truth, we were not traveling. We were being called.
In the Sufi tradition, it is said that the great souls — the masters — do not invite us with words, but with the pull of the heart. And so it was not we who chose Konya…It was Mevlana Rumi who chose us.
Now, we extend that same invitation to you — to join us in answering the call of Rumi and his Master of Whirling. Not just to witness the celebration — but to step into it.
Karim will offer Sufi teachings through sacred storytelling, devotional poetry, and shared chanting in the heart-opening circle of Zikr — the remembrance of the Beloved.

Her meeting with Karim brought new depth, illuminating the sacred symbols and heart-centered teachings of Rumi and the Sufi path.
During the journey, Kriszta will offer a Ceremony of the Oud and the Rose — an invitation into remembrance, fragrance, and soul-music

Arrival in Istanbul | Opening to the Path
Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to our hotel, located in the Ortaköy district, just a few minutes’ walk from the Bosphorus Bridge. We begin our journey with a shared dinner.
Yahya Efendi – Seeing Divine Order Beyond Chaos
Morning opening circle at our hotel, followed by an afternoon visit to the shrine of the 16th-century mystic Yahya Efendi, revered for his healing presence and luminous prayers. The shrine is located on a hill overlooking the Bosphorus — a gentle threshold into our journey.
(breakfast and dinner)
Sümbül Efendi – The Inner Fire & Eyüp Sultan – Devotion and Fidelity
Morning circle and guided remembrance (dhikr) at the hotel, followed by visits to two more Guardians of Istanbul.
At the shrine of Sümbül Efendi, we connect with the quiet work of the inner fire — the transformative force that purifies and ripens the soul from within.
At the Eyüp Sultan Mosque, a space of devotion and fidelity opens — one of the city’s most powerful sites of protection and blessing.
We then return to the senses through the colors and fragrances of the Egyptian Spice Bazaar, followed by a boat journey on the Bosphorus. Moving between East and West, the soul of the city reveals itself from a new perspective.
(breakfast and dinner)

Hudayi – The Path of Service
Morning circle and guided remembrance (dhikr) at the hotel.
Later, we visit the tomb of the fourth Guardian, Aziz Mahmud Hudayi, one of Istanbul’s greatest saints and the founder of the Jelveti Sufi order. A scholar, poet, and mystic of profound humility, his shrine remains a living refuge for seekers. There will be time for quiet sitting, prayer, and receiving the peace of the space.
Transfer to the airport, followed by a flight to Konya.
(breakfast and lunch)

Integration & Sacred Farewell
We begin the day with a special Turkish breakfast.
Visit to the ancient village of Sille, where rock-cut churches and cave dwellings preserve the quiet layers of faith. A sharing circle follows, allowing space to integrate the teachings and experiences of the journey. From here, we ascend to Derviş Şapkası Tepesi — “Dervish Hat Hill” — where movement and stillness meet, as if the landscape itself were calling us into inner balance and attunement.
We return to the shrines of Rumi and Shams for a closing circle and prayers.
A time of inner completion — not the end of the path, but the planting of seeds.
