They led me to incredible places—I can’t put it into words, because I experienced so many dazzling locations with them, all while being guided deep within my own soul. From the well-known tourist sites to hidden wonders. If we’re lucky, we have many opportunities to travel, and we probably imagine those journeys in many different ways.
I first traveled with Kriszta and Karim in April 2021, and on that trip I got caught in a spiral—since then, we’ve had eight journeys together. The most wonderful part is that each trip seemed to follow naturally from the previous one, almost building on it, bringing a truly amazing experience into my life.
Their journeys are very intense in many ways—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. The locations themselves… and why do I recommend them?
I’ve traveled with them to so many places, across a wide spectrum: from the monumental pyramids, through the desert, to tiny yet monumental temples, to cathedrals; from breathtaking castle ruins to beautifully preserved fortresses; from stunning dolmens to streams hidden in the forest, to temple ruins. We sailed the Nile on the dahabeya or tiny motorboats, plunged into the turquoise waters of the sea, and marveled at the rivers of Mesopotamia (the Tigris and Euphrates). We climbed mountains—from Tort, through Montségur, to Nimrod Mountain. We visited wonderful cities, from bustling metropolises to hidden Nubian villages. We celebrated the solstice in awe at Stonehenge.
I can’t even begin to list the thousands of wonders.
Along the way, we also learned about ourselves. On every journey, we confronted and explored the depths and heights of our souls; sometimes we clashed, we cried and laughed, we hugged and loved.
